About My First Years Preschool in Davie
We are a love and family-based preschool in Davie, Florida. We care for and teach children from 6 weeks to 5 years old and offer After School Care and extra-curriculars for children up to 9 years old. We offer age-appropriate resources, hands-on learning, and nurturing care to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is grounded in learning through play and becoming one with the family. By blending structured and exploratory activities in a “home away from home” environment, we have created a space where families trust us, children love us, and every day is a learning adventure for all ages!
Who We Are
My First Years Preschool was founded in 2007 and is now managed by husband and wife team, Milton and Renata. We set out to create a school that feels like family, where young children thrive in a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
We believe our hands-on approach helps children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

We offer a variety of programs, including infant care, toddler care, preschool, and VPK (Florida’s voluntary pre-kindergarten program). We also provide After School Care to support busy families in our local community.
We also offer Spring Break Camp, Summer Camp, and Winter Camp for children up to 9 years old to support families in our local community.
We offer extra-curricular activities for our children, including soccer and ballet, provided by trusted professionals and teachers from our community! Such activities build creativity, strength, discipline, and provide ample opportunities for social interaction.
We believe early learning starts at birth, and every moment is an opportunity to build a strong foundation for life. Our expert-designed Learning Beyond Paper curriculum, paired with our Storytime Chess program, encourages children’s cognitive and social development beyond the classroom, in an environment where they’re loved and cherished.
