Preschool Teacher (Full-Time) - Experience Required
Location: Davie, Florida, USA
Hours: 45 hours per week

Reports To: Preschool Director
Position Overview
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a passion for early education, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences.
This role includes planning and leading daily classroom activities, maintaining a safe and clean learning environment, and supporting the emotional and developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and document children’s development
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Requirements
- Must speak English fluently
- Must have completed the 45 hours from DCF
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a preschool or childcare setting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pass a full background check
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Assistant Teacher
My First Years Preschool is seeking a caring, reliable, and flexible Assistant Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children, can support classroom needs, and is happy to help with daily operations to keep our preschool running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the classroom as needed, supporting lead teachers with daily activities and supervision.
- Cover classrooms when required (must have completed the 45 hours of DCF training).
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for children and staff
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Requirements:
- Completion of the 45-hour DCF training (mandatory).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a preschool or childcare setting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a full background check
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A genuine love for working with children
- Speak English (preferred)
