Position Overview
We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a passion for early education, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences.
This role includes planning and leading daily classroom activities, maintaining a safe and clean learning environment, and supporting the emotional and developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and document children’s development
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing guidelines

Requirements
- Must speak English fluently
- Must currently hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a preschool or childcare setting
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or higher strongly preferred)
- Must pass all background checks and meet state licensing requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

- Cover classrooms when required (must have completed the 45 hours of DCF training).
- Serve lunch and snacks to children, ensuring a safe and positive mealtime environment.
- Provide support in the preschool office with light administrative tasks.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for children and staff.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Requirements:
- Completion of the 45-hour DCF training (mandatory).
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool, childcare, or educational setting preferred.
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to the needs of both the classroom and office.
